Worcestershire based HR firm, Cherington HR, is celebrating 12 successful years in business.
The firm, founded in 2006 by experienced HR Consultant, Helen Astill, boasts extensive experience in helping firms improve performance by dealing with people management situations and resolving immediate issues within the workplace.
Since inception it has supported over 200 different SMEs and large corporations across the Three Counties, and boasts excellent testimonials from many previous clients including the Engineering Development Trust, Oberthur Technologies, and Meridian (Speciality Packaging) Ltd.
Helen Astill, Director of Cherington HR, commented: ‘I am delighted that Cherington HR has reached such a tremendous milestone. Since 2006, we have helped a large variety of firms throughout the UK with their HR set up or have supported management teams in dealing with ongoing staff issues.’
Throughout its years of success, Cherington HR has been a finalist on three occasions for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards including those for Excellence in Customer Service and Professional Services.
Helen continued: ‘Throughout my years in working within the industry, it’s become apparent that not every business can afford the time required or the cost of employing someone to manage HR on a full-time basis. By setting up Cherington HR, I wanted to solve this issue for businesses, whilst ensuring they still had affordable HR support, and over a decade later we are still going strong.’
Helen has considerable experience in all aspects of practical human resource management and development, gained from a variety of senior positions in both public and private sectors, including several years as a HR and Support Services Manager at the global engineering group GKN plc.
